Eat-out options are not so great where I live and I kinda have a mild processed food phobia, but life is too short to be eating bad food so I explore a variety of cuisines by testing out recipes at home.

I am a self-taught home cook and I make do with the skills I learn from cooking shows, blogs, and books, but I’m always trying to improve!

I like recipes that use ingredients that are relatively easy to obtain, doesn’t require a jar/can/package of processed product, and won’t cost lots of $$$.
