Blanched Almonds


  • raw almonds
  • water enough to cover the almonds


  1. Bring the water to a boil.

  2. Place the raw almonds into the boiling water and boil for 1 minute.

  3. Drain and run cold water over it to cool.

  4. The almond skin will be shriveled. Squeeze them between your fingers and the almond will slip right out of its skin.
